From the mouth of babes...

Tonight I was feeling sad, really sad. There were tears. Thank goodess my daughters surrounded me with their love and care. We are here to support each other.

Later, when hugging Matilda in her bed to say goodnight, she said, "You're a really good mummy."

Through my tears and doubt I said, "I'm not so sure I am."

She replied quickly, "If there was a competition for all the mummies in the world, you would come first..." (and after a brief pause) "or second."

"Second?"

"Mummy, do you know how many mummies there are in the world? Millions. Second is really very good."

I smiled. She sure knows how to cheer me up. Love her.
