BFFs Together Again

Last few days in Sweden...

Matilda discovers a love of snails, much to my fright and disgust.The good times are over for the lucky kiddies at Skir. Back to school they go.Always good to have a big sister to help with important things like make up.One last swim in freezing cold water?? Matilda's thinking about it.Isabelle is not one to hesitate, in she goes!She absolutely loves it.One final catch up with Camilla and her beautiful family.

Tomorrow, we're off back home to Doha. It's been a great six weeks. Thanks everyone for spending time with us on our journey. Same time next year?

He gave us a ride in his tractor.Like owner, like dog.

Cousins galore

Mormor, her cousins, and I catch up for lunch. After lunch I get to catch up with my cousin, Nicole at her new impeccable home.

Isabelle goes to camp

Isabelle is off to camp in Skurup, at a farm.Meet & greet the locals.Matilda nagged me the whole way to please find a camp suitable for 6 year olds too.Meanwhile, we go and visit another old school friend, the youthful Lia and her daughter Alice and hamster Pearl.The girls played so well, considering a lack of common language.

Their birthdays are also two days apart.

Brendan returns to Sweden

Isabelle & Edvin really bonded on this trip.Grill Ysterband was on the BBQ menu, much to Brendan's delight. Hug-a-bugs.Eww... real BUGS.Matilda gets a hold of the camera.

We had a fantastic two days here, will keep returning as long as the girls are interested. So far, they both love Astrid Lindgren's stories and characters.
